CareScan is a comprehensive database system designed specifically to simplify the management of CACFP data for childcare agencies.CareScan provides a case management tool for agencies to focus on more important aspects of their operation to provide quality childcare service instead of paperwork processing.
CareScan operates on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (standard edition for large agency operation or desktop engine for small agency operation). Application is developed using C# in Microsoft’s latest .NET framework. All reports are written with latest Crystal Report XI. Because of its true relational database structure and object-oriented system design with 3-tier architecture, the system itself can be customized easily to adopt various changes required from each implementation.
CareScan adopts standard Windows-based software application user interface. It is designed to create a user-friendly experience by integrating user’s daily windows operation preference into the program. User only needs minimum training effort to get started with CareScan.
CareScan benefits greatly from its object-oriented development methodology and 3-tier design concept, which makes the system flexible and open for future modification and customization based on user requirement with ease while ensuring the integrity of the system.
For reporting, all user data can be extracted by users to create ad-hoc reports by using standard reporting tools, such as Crystal Report, Access…etc. We can also offer custom report development service based on each agency’s requirements.
